Trip to the Doctor

Today was Tessa's 15 month old check up at Dr. Manley's office. She was looking good at 31" on height, which placed her in the 75th percentile, head circumference was at 18", which placed her in 50th percentile, and her weight was at 20 pounds which put her only in the 10th percentile, but we will work on that! She was a big girl when it came time for her shots! We are so very proud of our little miss Tessa!

Easter & Spring are on their way!

We have been enjoying some gorgeous weather here in the south the last couple days! This wonderful weather has really gotten us all ready for spring & the upcoming Easter holiday! We just finished up some fab Easter portraits with our favorite photographer, Christy Burgess, with Visions to Images Photography and I couldn't wait to share a couple of the pics with everyone!

Daylea & Ari seemed to totally LOVE the sweet little Easter bunnies and the perky baby chicks, Tessa, on the other hand, was not a lover of either!! LOL! She loved looking at them in their cages but when it came time to actually hold one or simply place it near her, she was ready to bolt! However, I wouldn't trade those memories for a million bucks! It was unseasonably cold but the pictures still turned out better than I had ever imagined!

Spring is going to be a wonderful time of year for us I hope! I can't wait to share it with our beautiful girls and all of you!!

St. Patty's Day 2010!!

St. Patty's Day was a little saddened by my Grandmother having a fall at the nursing home. So things did not go exactly as planned but fun was still had by all! Especially Tessa & Daylea who got tons of great loot from the lucky leprechaun of St. Patty's Day!They each received hand painted, clay pots, in a St. Patty's Day motif, with lollipops, gumdrops, & St. Patty's Day sunglasses! Tessa's outfit was totally precious on her and the sunglasses were a big hit with the girls as well, even if the packaging told us they were not technically sunglasses, LOL! All in all, I think the girls were very lucky this St. Patty's Day and so were the rest of us! Hope you& your family had agreat St. Patty'sDay too!!

March 2010 is here!

I can't believe it is the first day of March 2010! This year is just moving right along like every other! March will prove to be a busy month for us here at the Medlin household. We will have several family and friend birthdays to celebrate, including my own, which I must say I am NOT looking forward to! After 25 birthdays just tend to suck! LOL! I am looking forward to the first day of spring though! We are really ready for spring & summer here, unfortunately, I am afraid winter will be sticking around for a while. However, to keep my mind off the poor weather, my impending birthday and the other stresses in my life, I started to plan out Tessa's St. Patrick's Day for this year! I have ordered her the cutest monogrammed St. Patty's Day Tee from Etsy and can't wait to receive it. I have also ordered a couple things for her and her friends' visit from the Lucky Leprechaun on St. Patty's Day! Nothing too extravagant, just a few shamrock lollipops and a St. Patty's Day pail. I am really excited to get them though I am hoping to embellish them a little and maybe put the girls names on them before I fill them with goodies. I was also tossing around the idea of a little St. Patty's Day Party for them but not sure if I could swing the scheduling for everyone. In any event, March is here with lots of promise! Stay tuned for some pics of the wonderful month of fun ahead!
